Context (Found together / assemblage)
Eight apparently unaccessioned crotal bells (TEMP.00679-TEMP.00684.1-2) were found together in the museum store. Four of them (TEMP.00683.1-2 and TEMP.00684.1-2) have remains of old object labels, although they may not be museum object labels. Some or all of them may have been accessioned and become disassociated with their museum number, or they may never have been formally accessioned into the museum's collection. However, at least one crotal bell (1923.229 C) in the museum's collection is missing a location. This idno has been tentatively added to these TEMP records, except TEMP.00683.1-2 and TEMP.00684.1-2.
