Description

A small, spherical crotal bell of cast copper alloy. The bell has: a sub-rectangular loop with a circular hole; a circular sound hole on either side of the top half; a raised band around the centre; a wide slot across the bottom with a circular hole at each end; a shperical iron pea inside. Both halves of the sphere have embossed decoration, consisting of radiating drop-shapes or petals, each with a line down the centre.

Small spherical crotal bell with intact suspension loop. Two holes in upper half, and an elongated sound slot connecting two further holes in the lower half. Both halves are covered with worn sunburst-style decoration. The inner contains a spherical cast iron 'pea'.
