Context (Amendments / updates)
This belt was labelled Z 19011 but the register notes for this number, 'Group of woven belts (colours of brown & beige)', but does not give the number of objects. The register entry for Z 19012 notes ''Group of woven belts (colours of purple & beige)', but also does not give the number of objects.
It is possible that this belt could be part of the series Z 19012.

Context (Amendments / updates)
A note by Tabitha Cadbury, 20.1.2005 reads 'These Mexican belts were found with lots of other Mexican belts in MEXICO BOXES 11.G.1-11.G.2. The queried Z-numbers are NOT CORRECT as those objects have also been found. Need to check that they haven't already been accessioned under another number & if not, give them a new accession number.'
An additional note by Rachel Hand was added at the bottom reading: 'Given Temp No. TEMP.00673-6 5/11/2018. Now to rebox and update location on CMS.'

Context (Amendments / updates)
Label in Anita Herle's hand reads: 'Mexico, Z 19012? Found with other Mexican belts taken out for permanent display. No number on artefact. (A. Herle Nov. 1990)'. This note seems to apply to 4 belts now numbered TEMP.00673-00676.
