Description (Physical description)
Buddhist prayer written in a Thai script on a length of cloth, which was wrapped around a figure of Buddha [TEMP.00626.2]. The prayer appears to have been in written in ink in the centre of the textile strip.

ข้าพเจ้าขออุทิศผ้าเหลืองห่มพระ... ไปถึงยัง... 1 องค์

This text translates as '"I want to give this yellow robe to ... [name unclear but presumably a dead person] and also this one pendulent of a little Buddha [TEMP.00626.2]"
