Description

An enamelled medal made from gold-coloured metal (A) in a rectangular red plastic presentation box (B) with lid (C). The top section of the medal is a red bar with the words 'A vállalat kiváló brigádja' in gold. It has a safety-pin style fastening on the back for attachment. A pentagonal medallion hangs from the bar; it has a red flag with a Hungarian flag in the middle, surrounded by the words 'Szocialista Brigáda'. There is a five-sided green wreath around the flag, with a red star at the top. The medal fits into a depression in a faux-velvet insert in the presentation box; there is a second depression below but the medal that would sit there is no longer present.
