Description (Physical description)
Copper alloy figure of the consort to Ganesha, Siddhi or Buddhi/Riddhi (originally referred to as a handmaiden) depicted wearing a long necklace and elaborate crown. The p. right hand is positioned in the Karana Mudra (the hand is stretched out vertically, with the palm forward. The thumb and the middle finger are touching but the index and little fingers are raised upwards). The p. left hand is held palm out facing the viewer, just below hip level (Abhaya Mudra). She wears a long, flowing textile at the waist. The lower half of the figure culminates in a circular pedestal, with a long, cylindrical projection on the underside.
