Description (Physical description)
Cast copper alloy figure of Buddha, seated on a lotus shaped pedestal. Depicted in the Bhumisparsha Mudra ('Touching the Earth' position); the right hand is placed over the knee, just touching the ground with the tips of the fingers. In the left hand is a rice bowl. The back of the pedestal/arch around the figure is decorated with a foliate or scroll pattern. Seated in the diamond lotus position.
