Thin wooden spear with long wooden point, the base of which is formed of three protruding prongs. The point is wrapped with thin fibre strips; the very tip is split.

Context (Analysis)
The zig zag carving on the hand grip is a common motif in Milne Bay Province and could indicate that the spear comes from this area.
