Context (Field collection)
No. 876 on Samson's list of artefacts collected in Namkham is a plough yoke. It is annotated on the list as "[19]38.100 a", 1938.100 being the plough (Samson no. 875) and 1938.100 b being the metal ploughshare (Samson no. 877). These numbers need to be reconciled when the plough is reassembled.

TEMP.00589 was compared to 1938.100 and does not match with the type of wood used and the joins. The label which was attached to this object has now been reunited with 1938.100. When the yoke for 1938.100 is found, the label should be attached to this.
