Description

Three wooden posts, part of framework for loom (1938.89 C-G), square in section with four flat faces, largely even in thickness down length with a slight curve. Each end with two rectangular holes through whole width set at perpendicular angles to each other, to hold other loom elements, likely 1938.89 C.

Description for 1938.89 A-G: 'Weaving loom with red and blue thread being worked into a multicoloured cloth. Massive framework. Probably back strap (?framed warp beam). Pair of reciprocating heddles. Remains of another heddle. Fabric 6" wide. Red tabby, and extra coloured wefts floating.
A: Sword for the loom.
B: Threads of various colours for loom.'
