Description
A wooden face mask with square eye holes, painted black with white and blue decoration. The mouth is a rectangular hole, with ten pegs indicating teeth, and with a piece of skin nailed below, with hair still attached. There are small pegs attached around the exterior rim, some trapping small pieces of red and black fibre. There are holes in the top of the forehead area, presumably for adding attachments.

Only the ends of the pegs remain sticking out. Remains of plant fibre are adhered at either side of the mask, ?strap. Several holes have been drilled into the white area on the head. [K. Sutton]

A wooden face mask with square eye holes, painted black with white and blue decoration. The mouth is a rectangular hole, with ten pegs indicating teeth, and with a piece of skin nailed below, with hair still attached. There are small pegs attached around the exterior rim, some trapping small pieces of red and black fibre. There are holes in the top of the forehead area, presumably for adding attachments. There are holes drilled at either side, with a broken piece of fibre tied through them. On the rear, there is a straight piece of wood nailed across the top of the forehead area. There is an eye hook screwed into one side, with a piece of fishing twine tied between this and the drilled hole on the other side of the mask.
