Margaret Ward examined this patera in August 2018. She wrote in September that she had been in touch with Brenda Dickinson, co-author of 'Names on Stamps', after she could not find the dish listed in that publication. Dickinson confirmed that this was because it was mistakenly not listed as from Girton: 'Montanus ii 3d DEP 24.286 clearly should be D 1924, 28 B.2. It also had 'Girton College Loan Collection' appended.'
