Two labels and one photo print found with IDNO in separate bag. Larger label states: "Painted Wall-Plaster from the Roman Villa at Ickleton. [The word 'mostly' had been inserted by hand after the word wall-plaster]. Braybrooke Collection. (Proceedings of the Cambridge Antiquarian Society, XLIV, p.12 and foll., Plll nos.4-6, Pl.IV a.)" The smaller label states: " Braybrooke Collection. Ickleton. (Fragments which may belong to a column?). For comparison see photographs of two fragments from Granichen, (Switzerland) and, the columns dividing the figures in the Christian Wall-Paintings of the Lullingstone Roman villa." The black and white photo print shows two fragments of wall-plaster designated 1 and 2 but is not labelled as to where they were found - perhaps Granichen?
