Original description for TEMP.00529[.1-11]: 'Bone and sea shells.'
Event Date 26/7/2018

Context (Found together / assemblage)
The objects in this box are marked with the excavation number 'MP 69', presumably referring to Mount Pleasant excavation undertaken by John Alexander. They were found in a box labelled 'Unmarked shell & bones - ?Arbury ?Mount Pleasant' and 'Arbury Rd Bones from MP 69'.
Event Date 6/8/2018

Context (Analysis)
According to 'Roman Cambridge' (PCAS 88), the site code 'MP' refers to Mount Pleasant but the last date of excavation is given as as 1968. Whilst it is possible that 'MP69' does not refer to a 1969 Mount Pleasant excavation but is instead another site, it is more plausible that this does refer to Mount Pleasant and was unintentionally left out of the PCAS publication.
