Catalogue card: A = Ibonodike (Mask)
B= Wonodike
In different hand writing "These two mask are almost identical. A is drawn on the other side of the card. B differs in that the teeth are spaced further apart, the crests stand straight and red and purple paint has been added to the hair. The face area and the features are smaller, but there is a greater hair area. It also has more decoration on the face - three lines radiating out from each corner of the mouth, each 'feathered' at the end. The faces of these masks are white, the hair and the pupils of the eyes black. The back of the head is covered with rows of low relief squares coloured black.'

Description (Physical description)
Large helmet mask with protruding eyes and three crests of hair. The ears are high on the sides of the head and are 'C' shaped and the teeth are protruding and cut through into the helmet like a grill. There are holes drilled through the bottom edge all around the circumference presumably for the attachment of a costume. There are scarification marks like crows feet extending from either edge of the mouth and the whole is painted with white, black, brown and red pigment.

Large, carved wooden helmet mask, with three notched crests of hair over the top of the head, painted brown. There are brown, 'C' shaped ears high on the sides of the head. The face is painted white, and has protruding eyes with black pupils, a nose with grooves for nostrils, and an open mouth with protruding teeth. There are black scarification marks, like crows feet, extending from either edge of the mouth. There are holes drilled all around the bottom edge, likely for the attachment of a costume.
