Description
Asukeda-pi. Man's body cloth, rectangular in shape, made up of four pieces of woven black cotton sewn together. Central pieces embellished with geometric designs stitched in pink, two rows of short red goats hair in orchid stem, and three rows of cowrie shells in circles, lower row of circles with line of shells extending from base. Outer pieces with thick four thick red stripes, one piece with additional row of small clusters of three or four cowrie shells, one piece with tassel in corner of red goats hair in orchid stem and strip of woven red and yellow cane, next to tassel a semicircle of cowrie shells and strip of woven red and yellow cane.

Body cloth made of three sections of woven black cotton with wide brown stripes at top and bottom, Asukeda-pi. Cloth decorated with cowrie circles (some of which have a line line extension which terminates in a cross) and small cowrie florets. 2 bands composed of a short fringe of red goat's hair wrapped in yellow orchid stem run horizontally across cloth. Long goats hair tassel at one corner. ; Good; Whole
