Description (Physical description)
Brass flat bracelet with flattened out spirals towards the split. Either side of the split is flattened, decorated with vertical lines and Xs alternatively. The rest of the bracelet has a twisted appearance. There is no stylistic reason why A and B should be linked together, as they have very different appearances. No provenance indicated, but associated with Okpe on box list and the above object. B is similar to Z 12838 and Z 12997. Information provided by Dr Ohioma Pogoson, Honorary Curator of the Museum of the Institute for African Studies, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. November 2012.
