Description (Physical description)
Part of the official uniform of U Kyan Gyi consisting of an elaborate collar and belt. Both the collar and belt consist of two parts. Significant damage to the khar-see part of the belt. The collar(bali-kway) is heavily decorated with gold braid and sequins on red silk, it appears to have been constructed in layers, with each individual layer being attached together. There is an intentional protrusion at the front of the collar where both halves of the collar connect. The second part of the collar, known as a chet-phon (navel guard) attaches to the main part and is also heavily decorated with sequins. The belt, khar-pat, is made from red silk and covered in gold braiding and sequins with a metal buckle. The khar-see, scarf, which attaches to the belt is made up of gold and silver metal threads. Due to improper storage, the scarf is extremely fragile and damaged.
