Description (Physical description)
Large image printed onto cotton depicting a battle scene within Burmese palace walls. The image gives an impression of symmetry between both halves, however the closer the view looks, the more differences between both sides are visible. There are two of everything in this image, two white elephants in the forefront of the image, two pairs of elephants fighting (one red and one white), however these are in different positions on the left and right side. There are also two brown horses in the centre of the image, two horses with riders fighting on either side, and four figures on foot in front of the animals. Although the composition of characters are the same, the positioning and colours used to paint them change. Behind the battle scene there are three palatial buildings.
