Description (Physical description)
Japanese painting depicting three court ladies all looking to the left. The background consists of cherry blossom and a group of figures behind the main focus of the painting. The artist may have signed the photo due to Japanese script in the bottom left hand corner, however this is unclear. The painting appears to be covered by a thin film of plastic, some of the painting has been folded over onto the back, this is fastened down by tape. The plastic which covers the painting appears to have been affixed to the painting by glue, evident from the glue line visible on the back.
