Description
A large wooden depiction of a camari, the Burmese version of a Tibetan yak. The majority of the figure is still covered in gilt, however some red lacquer is visible. The tip of the tail is loose and moves when touched.

In Singer's collection there are four Camari, they appear to be part of a set as the sculpture and style of these figures are similar. Singer did not state that this was the case in his original inventory, however, it is a possibility.

Description (Physical description)
A large wooden depiction of a camari, the Burmese version of a Tibetan yak. The majority of the figure is still covered in gilt, however some red lacquer is visible. The lacquer is particularly visible on the snout and on the left hand side of the animal. The tip of the tail is unstable and moves when touched. There is damage to the left side of the face, with an ear or horn missing.
