Description (Physical description)
A Ko-kaw-tee bowl with fine decorations in thayo (paste of lacquer and ash), depicting a different tribal figure in eight inverted triangular panels. Singer suggests these figures represent the subjects of the Sao Pha or Chief of Kengtung, and they are coming to pay their respects. The bowl is covered in black lacquer and gilded. in addition to the eight figures, there are loops and tendrills in thayo.
