Description

A middle sized bamboo betel box of Shan manufacture. It consists of the lid and base but no trays. It is covered in lacquer and decorated in red, black, possibly dark brown, silver, and gilded. The cover is decorated with four swordsmen amid vegetation and she side shows ten swordsmen in procession incised in silver. The base side and underside are decorated with a floral pattern and gilded.
