Description
A medium sized bamboo betel box in 5 parts. Covered in lacquer it is decorated in red, brown, yellow, and black. The lid depicts a royal couple in a chariot with two umbrellas, possibly Sagaing Min and his consort Ma Nu. In front is a line of spear men, a man on a horse, one on an elephant and in the centre is a female dancer dressed as a Kinnayi, bird woman dance. Behind her sits a musician with an instrument in the shape of a dragon. The side panels show birds and seated men. On the underside of the base is a Toe with birds.
