Description
Cylinder seal of black stone, pierced longitudinally for suspension. Standing figures, plants and a line of text. Presentation scene with three tall, narrow standing figures and four small nude figures (two female and two male) tête-bêche. Heavy use of drill, and cuneiform inscription interspersed between the larger figures in three lines. Drilled style.

Research was undertaken by Kathryn Kelley and David Young in 2018, partially funded by the Crowther-Beynon Grant, as part of a larger Oxford University project ’Seals and Their Impressions in the Ancient Near East’ (SIANE).
