Description
Copper alloy brooch with intact pin and catchplate, part of spring detached but present. Apex of bow decorated with transverse grooved lines and a blue glass bead attached through a perforation in the bow. Foot decorated with a constricted knob and four curved wires, only one of which is intact.

Said to have come from the Champagne district. They date in the transition period between Hallstatt and La Tene, circa 500 - 400 BC but are not of types that I can find record of as characteristic of this district. 1924.976 A in particular is very Pyrenean - Spanish looking - CF; Date: 4 Century BC; 3 Century BC -
