An architectural carving of wood in three pieces joined with dowels in an arch shape. On one side there is a bat amongst clouds and on the other side is a hare amongst clouds and foliage. There are three iron nails on the top of the arch.

This object was found unaccessioned at Shorts on 05/01/2017 and has now been given a Temporary Number in accordance with MAA’s documentation procedures. It was previously incorrectly identified as 1927.1932 based on a loose label. 1927.1932 is a totally different object currently on display.
