Description
Fish-hook formed of a mother-of-pearl shank and a turtle-shell point. The shank and point are lashed together with thin cords of twisted plant fibre. The back of the shank is finely decorated with shallow incisions. The end of the shank is carved with projections to facilitate the attachment of a snood or line. There is a hackle of plant fibre and red glass and shell beads attached to the lower part of the shank.
