Description

Adorno of a modelled anthropomorphic head. Facial features consist of a raised horizontal semi-ovoid mouth with incised line for lips; a vertical semi-ovoid nose; raised semi-spherical eyes with incised pupils; projections at each side for ears. Above the eyes is a tabular head extension, possibly a headband; a lug projects behind; the back of the head has a slight hollow depression. Broken off below the mouth at two parts, likely the chin and connecting to the rim. Red ware, vessel missing.
