Description
Sherd featuring a zoomorphic adorno. This representation of an animal's head has large, protruding hemispherical eyes and a rounded snout with a mouth created by a slightly curved horizontal indentation. Incised curving line at either side; circular perforation directly behind the head. Red paint on surfaces. Orange-red fabric with sandy temper. Brown accretions on underside.
