Context (Analysis)
The original 1886 entry for this suffix implies that it was a glass pane with lead lining. Only the lead lining was seen in 2001, in a roughly circular shape, and presumably earlier to judge by the type of object label attached to it by string. Found with 1886.36 A-E were two pieces of stained glass not marked with accession numbers, the head of a female saint and the lower half of a body wearing a gown or robes (subsequently assigned 2014.133 and TEMP.00232, respectively). Both of these objects have been wrapped with very fine metal wires, presumably not for conservation purposes as the head of the saint is not cracked. It is perhaps possible that the round lead lining once fit around the rounded upper section of the female head and that the bottom half of a robed figure was thought to belong to her so that the metal wires were used to suspend the bottom section from the top, since the middle section of the figure no longer exists. If this is the case, then the lead lining (1886.36 B), the head (2014.133) and the bottom (TEMP.00232) are all part of the same object: 1886.36 B. More research will need to be undertaken, however, before this can be determined definite.
