Description
Large wooden tankard with a carved handle. Constructed with wooden staves, slightly tapering towards the rim, attached to a circular base with a footring. The handle protrudes above the rim; the top of the handle is curved, with a small knob, the bottom has carved ridges and an incised cross. Wooden hoops, with large sections missing, encircle the top and bottom. One stave is missing. 'TP' is burned into the base. Insect damaged. Reconstructed.
