The object was part of a box of items, all being flint (2008.98 B-F) with the exception of a glass head bead (2008.98 A). A label in the box reads 'Flints' on one side in embossed writing. On the other side is a stamp franked 'May 24 98'; the second half of a word handwritten in blank ink can also be seen, reading '...llo'.
