Notes on catalogue card: "Accession book includes these items twice, once as part of Selwyn Collection, once as purchased. 1901 Report says they were purchased."
"On examining material, two narrow bands as overleaf were found, and also two wider bands, fringed at both ends. Patterned in mauve (brown?) were also found bearing the same number." Loaned to exhibition "Arts of Vanuatu" at Museum der Kulturen, Basel 15 March - 10 April 1997, and at Musée National des arts d'Afrique et d'Océanie "Vanuatu, Océanie" 2 October 1997- 2 February 1998.
