Written in Devanagari. Karauli was a princely state in Rajasthan. Can read “Shri Madan Mohan ? Maharajadhiraj Maharaj Shri Madan Pal ji Dev Bahadur ?” Madan Pal was Maharaja of Karauli from 1854-1869. The seal must have been collected in 1864 (see also Z 46842.42).
