Context (CMS Context)
Written in Devanagari. The English on the back says Maharawal Oodey Singh of Doongarpoor 64. The Hindi says Maharawal ji Shri Uday Singh ji (among other things). Dungarpur was a princely state in Rajasthan. Udai Singh was the ruler (Maharawal) from 1846-1898. The seal was presumably collected in 1864.
