Written in Devanagari. The English writing says Ajigurh (Bundelkhand). This probably refers to Ajaigarh, one of the princely states in the Bundelkhand Agency. Think the seal is probably that of Mahipat Singh (reigned 1849-1853). 1864 must be the date the seal was collected. [Information provided by Danika Parikh, Department of Archaeology]
