Context (CMS Context)
Written in Perso-Arabic script. The English writing says Nuwab of Tonk, Wuzeer Mahomed Khan. Believe this refers to Muhammad Wazir Khan, who was Nawab of Tonk from 1834-1864. Tonk was the only Muslim princely state in Rajasthan and the royal family were Pathans. [Information provided by Danika Parikh, Department of Archaeology]
