Context (CMS Context)
Written in Perso-Arabic script. Think the English writing at the back says Maharajah of Bhurtpore. This is an old British spelling for Bharatpur, a princely state. This could be the seal of Maharaja Jashwant Singh who reigned from 1853-1893. [Information provided by Danika Parikh, Department of Archaeology]
