Context (Found together / assemblage)
Three pieces of plaited and folded grass or straw were found packed with birch bark figures 1944.144.1-8. Since they are made from a distinct material and with differing techniques, the decision was taken to assign them temp numbers. The tentative provenance of Sweden has been added due to the association with the figures. The grass or straw objects have now been assigned TEMP.01983.1-3.
