Context (Found together / assemblage)
Jenkinson records (GO3/5/1) the contents of Grave 40 as: 'Two fibula, not a pair, on th clavicles: about the right fibula were blue glass beads and two of amber. A small but stout bronze ring lay close by on the vertebrae. Resting against the other fibula was a triangle of thin bronze. The arms were crossed over the body and, apparently on the left forearm, was a buckle with plain bronze plate attached, which had been riveted probably on leather.'
