Description (Physical description)
Small fish-hook formed of a shank of polished shell to which is attached an incurving point of turtle-shell. They are lashed together with plant fibre. A small tassel of red and white glass bead is attached to the lower part of the hook with plant fibre.

The engraved inscription 'Simbo Id / 1903' on the back of the hook is consistent in style and date with other inscriptions found on objects thought to have been collected by Woodford in 1903.
