Context (Analysis)
A relatively short strand of white shell beads. The white shell beads are made from the spires of Pterygia (=Imbricaria) punctata. The beads are well ground around the periphery, but are also rounded and polished through wear. Bead diameters c. 4.8 - 5.1 mm (derived from sample of 5).
