Previously displayed in the Clarke Gallery(1984-2010) in case 46-48. Could not be found on object labels. These cases were for Anglo-Saxon material so the original record may have them listed as Anglo-Saxon, but they have recently been reinterpreted as Viking or Norman.

A pair of iron shears, broken in half at the hinge. Wide rounded loop, square choil and flat blade. Gently curved back; blade is fully intact.
