Context (Amendments / updates)
1924.1217 A-D were originally entered in the Accession Register as 'Provenance not recorded'. William Ridgeway identified them as 'of Balkan type', and the Place was entered as '?Balkans' accordingly. However, a later hand in the Accession Register noted that they may in fact be Coptic from Egypt. The Period and Place field have therefore been updated to include this information pending further analysis.

Penannular bracelet for a child made of silver wire. Circular in shape with one flat terminal and the other a sphere with openwork decoration. Incised bands around one end of the bracelet near the terminal.
