This shape of object, although reminiscent of the Solomon Islands clubs, are more akin to clubs from New Caledonia or Vanuatu (L. Carreau, 23/02/2016).

Description (Physical description)
Club of heavy dark wood with a beak-shaped blade. On both sides, a longitudinal ridge runs from the bent part to the tip of the blade. The shaft is oval in section and very thick, with an expending butt.
