Description
Dance club - Dance club of heavy wood, canoe-shaped. Dark wood coloured, possibly indicating that the object was exposed to a smoky environment. The head is decorated with motifs in black pigments (faded in places). The upper side is carved with two large triangular faces curving upwards. Very short handle compared to similar clubs. Very large crack on the underside. A 'skirt' of plant fibre is attached to the handle.
