Description
Dance paddle of light wood, with wide thick tapering blade, waisted shaft and expanding handle, tapering towards the end. Both sides are carved with a 'spine' in low relief, highlighted with red and black pigment alternatively. On both sides of the blade, the surface is carved with a very large human figure, squatting, hands touching the ears, with bulbous hat. The surface is very damaged on both sides.
