Description (Physical description)
Necklace of formed of many strands of dog's teeth and red and white shell beads. The strands are kept in place by being fed through turtle shell spacers. One pearl-shell pendant. Some of the strands have been broken and re-attached in the wrong place.

Context (Analysis)
Multistranded necklace of dog canines separated at intervals with red and white shell disc beads. The strands are separated by spacers of turtleshell. On one of the strands is a long tapered sliver of mother-of-pearl from a large thick shell. The size, curvature and rainbow nacre all suggest Turbo marmoratus as a raw material. The red beads have the pink/brown overtones of Chama. Some white beads are clearly Anadara, while others are clearly Conus. Beads sizes are very different - especially in thickness. Wear patterns also indicate life histories on different objects.
