Shell money formed of four strands of beads, strung on a cord of plant fibre and tied at one end. Two of the strands are broken. The beads are predominantly white shell beads with occasional sections of red shell beads and black seed beads. One dark blue tubular glass bead.

Context (Analysis)
Four strands tied together with object being approx 82cm long, with two of the strands being broken and hanging free instead of looped. Dominantly white, Anadara beads with sections of red/Chama beads at the centre of the necklace. Occasional red beads are also interspersed, singly or in small groups, at other irregular points. The beads are well ground and are quite mixed in terms of size, although some are extensively worn. The red beads present a generally fine finishing and minimal usewear. The red beads are more regular in size than the white beads on this strand.
